Neil Vernon is a seasoned product leader and technologist with over 30 years of experience delivering innovative, high-impact software solutions for global financial institutions. As Chief Product Officer at Gresham Technologies, Neil combines deep domain expertise with exceptional product management capabilities, driving the vision, design, and delivery of the company’s real-time financial control solutions.

Since joining Gresham in 2010, Neil has played a central role in shaping the companies products—recognising a critical industry need for advanced data integrity, control, and reconciliation. He led the product strategy from inception, creating a modern, cloud-native solution that has become a market leader with over 300 customers worldwide. His ability to align technology with customer and market needs has been a cornerstone of Gresham’s product success.

Beyond product leadership, Neil has been instrumental in Gresham’s strategic growth initiatives. He played a pivotal role in the successful acquisitions and integrations of C24 Technologies, B2 Group, Inforalgo, and Electra Information Systems—each expanding the Clareti platform’s capabilities across messaging, payments, integration, and buy-side solutions. Neil was also part of the executive leadership team that successfully took Gresham private, supporting its next phase of growth as a focused, agile fintech innovator.

Prior to Gresham, Neil directed product strategy for SmartStream’s reconciliations and control suite, led product development at PaceMetrics for exception management and business activity monitoring, and was responsible for back-office equities technology at Swiss Bank. Throughout his career, he has demonstrated a rare combination of strategic vision, technical depth, and product execution
