New York / London, 12 January 2026 – STG, a private equity firm focused on software, data, and analytics, today announced that it has completed the acquisition of thinkFolio from S&P Global, establishing thinkFolio as an independent portfolio company focused on delivering portfolio modelling, order management and investment compliance to owners investment managers and asset owners. thinkFolio will operate as an independent business, with a renewed focus on deepening customer partnerships and accelerating product development to support long-term growth. The investment provides thinkFolio with dedicated resources to enhance service delivery and expand innovation across fixed income, multi-asset, and bespoke investment workflows.
