Computer Science degree at University of Portsmouth
I joined Gresham after I graduated in July 2015 from the University of Portsmouth with a degree in Computer Science.
The opportunity to work on large, complicated projects as part of a close-knit team has been a highlight of my time at Gresham so far. My involvement with the backend Java development team has allowed me to use and expand the skills I learnt at university as well as develop new ones. The work I have been a part of has been challenging, but colleagues have always offered advice and help when needed, which highlights the good spirit and camaraderie within the company.
I’ve had a wonderful experience at Gresham and I am certain I can continue to further my career even more here.previous grad next grad
Economics degree at University of Bologna
From the moment I obtained my Economics degree from the University of Bologna I was prepared for a new challenge, so I came to London in 2014. Due to my exposure and passion for FinTech, and having gained an Investment Management Certificate (IMC) I and II from CFA, I wanted to build my career in this space.
Aside from being an extraordinary company, Gresham gives me the certainty that I am on the right path. With great support from Marketing and Sales, I source, generate and qualify meaningful opportunities for the business. My team has invested the time to ensure I have a complete grasp of the company’s products, competitive landscape, prospects and key decision makers, and an understanding of their business needs and pain points.
I am grateful to be part of the Gresham team, working with outstanding professionals in the FinTech world keeps me learning everyday. I look forward to continuing to challenge myself and progressing my career within Gresham, and being part of this growing company; driving revenue and adding true value.previous grad next grad

Computer Science Masters degree at University of Bristol
I graduated from the University of Bristol in 2013 with a Masters degree in Computer Science. I have spent my time at Gresham working on the web based Clareti Accounts Receivable Management solution, in both QA and development roles.
On the QA side I have performed both exploratory and automated testing. This is an exciting area as I have learnt technologies such as JBehave and the Selenium browser automation tools. Software testing exposes you to every corner of the application, meaning you quickly learn how everything works together for a greater understanding of the product.
Recently I have transitioned to more of a developer role, focusing on the client side of the application and front-end technologies. I also liaise with the customers daily; on the issues they are finding in the features that we regularly release following an agile development lifecycle.previous grad next grad

I joined Gresham after graduating from Aberystwyth University in 2013, with a degree in Computer Graphics, Vision and Games.
It’s important for me that I keep walking the path of self-improvement, learn new technologies, re-write legacy code so it’s better, implement bigger, cleverer and more robust designs.previous grad next grad
IT and Business Management degree at UWE
I joined Gresham’s customer support team in 2016 after graduating from University of the West of England with a degree in IT and Business Management.
From my first day I have been learning new skills and getting involved with Gresham’s latest products such Clareti-as-a-Service. Not only have my technical skills such as XML, SQL, Linux and AWS improved but so have my interpersonal skills through communicating with all members of Gresham to solve technical issues.
Gresham has provided me external training to fast track my knowledge with Linux and I am hoping to be RedHat certified by next year. In the future I would like to become AWS certified and continue progressing through Gresham and gaining expert knowledge in all our products.
My time at Gresham so far has been hugely enjoyable, with new skills being learnt all the time and having a central office in Bristol filled with fun people to work with!previous grad next grad
MEng in Computer Science at University of Bristol
I graduated in 2015 from University of Bristol after studying MEng in Computer Science and during my time here at Gresham I have learnt a lot.
I’m part of the backend team and we are using lots of different and exciting technologies that I have never used before, like Gigaspaces, Springboot, Spring Security. I’ve also learnt how to work in big teams efficiently following an Agile Development process.
The highlight of my employment with Gresham is getting to work with Amazon Web Services and experiment with this relatively new technology. There is a noticeable shift to cloud services in the last few years that makes it important to be familiar with this new technology.previous grad next grad

In my role I’m on hand to support customers on a daily basis and have been fortunate enough to interact with the support teams around the world.
I’ve recently joined Gresham and my highlight since my employment started would be given the opportunity to get involved in a number of projects to help build upon the skills learnt at University as well as learn new ones along the way.

Apprentice Software Engineer
Before joining I had no experience with software development so there was a lot for me to learn, but everyone at Gresham has always been willing to ensure that I had the help I needed.
I was looking for an apprenticeship role where I could start from scratch, I had no experience with software development; just some technical skills I had taught myself. The position has also helped me to expand my knowledge of systems and give me an understanding of how people can work together as a team in an agile environment.
I started by getting comfortable with the development environment and the Clareti platform. Now I’m working on projects as part of a team. I hope to continue improving my technical skills and become a key part of product development at Gresham.previous grad next grad
